5 Ways to Protect Your Car from Extreme Heat
The American Automobile Association (AAA) is a non-profit member service organization from North America, providing travel, automotive, insurance, financial, and discounts services to the motor club members. Occasionally, AAA also steps in with some advice on how to take care of your car best.
The latest series of guidelines are meant to help drivers protect their car during the high summer temperatures so they are not left stranded at the roadside because of it.
However, even with proper preventive maintenance, summer breakdowns can still occur, so AAA recommends every driver have a well-stocked emergency kit in their vehicle. The kit should include water, non-perishable food items, jumper cables, a flashlight with extra batteries, road flares or an emergency beacon, basic hand tools, and a first aid kit.
"While many drivers think about the importance of readying their vehicle for cold weather in winter, it's also important to not forget about the need to prepare for hot summer months," said Beth Mosher, AAA Chicago Director of Public Affairs.
"Many parts of the country are experiencing extreme heat, which can take its toll on vehicle components. However, a few preventive maintenance steps can help keep your vehicle running smoothly," continued Mosher.
AAA's five ways to protect the car from extreme heat are resumed below:

- Check the battery to be mounted in place, clean any corrosive build up, and have it tested by a trained technician
- Proper cooling system maintenance
- Avoid excessive heat where the rubber meets the road
- Check all fluids including motor oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid and brake fluid to ensure they are filled to the appropriate levels
- Maintain a comfortable driving environment with a operating air conditioning system

Why Mobile Car Care is so important today ?
A well maintained and clean car is the desire of every car owner, yet we are almost never able to groom our cars properly due to lack of time and required skills. This is the only reason behind the rise and prosperity of the car grooming business.
Professionals in this business have all the basic know-how of car maintenance and servicing to give your car total care. However, with much busier lifestyles, most people do not often get the time to go and get their vehicle groomed, and this has led to the emergence of companies which offer mobile car grooming services.
The benefits of mobile car grooming are manifold. Most significantly, it saves you time and the hassle of having to drop your vehicle with a grooming company and then bringing it back. Mobile car grooming service is offered right at your place, which means you can spend quality time with your children on weekends without worrying about your vehicle.
Mobile car grooming also ensures that your car remains protected. A recent study showed that when a car is left at the site of a grooming company, the people there usually end up being careless, which mostly results in unintended harm to the car. But staff of a mobile car grooming business work outside your own house, so you can always choose to have a cursory supervision of their work and even judge their competency levels.
As far as the cost is concerned, it may seem to you initially that mobile car grooming services are more expensive, but the truth is there are many hidden costs that you would be ignoring. When you consider all the costs involved in dropping your vehicle at the premises of a grooming firm and bringing it back, along with the time and effort that you expend, you will realize that mobile car grooming turns out to be much more economical than conventional grooming services.
So what are you waiting for? Contact us today!!!

5 Great Tips To Save Money On Car Parts And Maintenance
1. A well tuned car can have a fuel consumption from 25% to 33% lower than a poorly tuned car making a tune-up cheaper than driving without it. Tuning your car for better performance can save you between $150 and $250 per year.
2. Regardless of the number of miles the manual recommends an oil, air and aircon filter change, you should change them every 10,000 kilometers. This is one of the most important factors in your engine's life since it's going to prolong your engine's life and you're going to save on engine car parts. The potential savings are $500 to $3000.
3. Most cars, don't work better on premium gas, so, unless your car is pinging or knocking you shouldn't use higher octane gas. If your car doesn't have a high performance engine, using the gas that best suits your car's engine can save you $200 to $400 per year.
4. Having under inflated tires makes your engine burn about 6% more gas so make sure you check your tire pressure regularly.
5. If your tires are improperly balanced, the tread on them will be destroyed. In addition, your suspension and shock absorbers can be damaged leading to more expense on car parts and service. Balancing your tires once a year can add thousands of miles to their life.
